The proactive presence your village is missing
Have you ever felt more overwhelmed than relieved by the ways family and friends show up for you during pregnancy and postpartum? You feel guilty because you know they mean well, but sometimes it feels like...
they just don't get it.
That's because there's a fundamental difference between a village that waits for you to ask and one that instinctively knows how to care for you. You deserve support that doesn't require your coordination.
About Rachel

Hi, I’m Rachel! I'm a certified postpartum doula, a birth doula in training, and a long-time nanny here in Connecticut.
Growing up on the coast of southern Maine taught me the value of a steady, grounding presence. I strive to bring that sense of 'coastal calm' into your home, because I’ve realized that while birth is a beginning, the weeks that follow are where the real becoming happens.
We’re often told to "ask for help if you need it," but there is a fundamental difference between a village that waits for you to ask and one that instinctively knows how to care for you. I’m here to quietly step in and handle the 'doing', so you can find your footing in the 'becoming'.
Whether you’re preparing to welcome your first baby or adding to your family again, I’m here to offer warm, empowering support every step of the way.
I’d be honored to be a part of your village.
